Logon to VIPERS Request VIPERS Access
In accordance with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations, the Department of Energy will begin collecting taxpayer information from all of their vendors. The first time a vendor logs into VIPERS on or after May 4, 2009, they will be required to fill out an IRS Form W-9, Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification. These forms will be stored in a secure location of the VIPERS server in order to protect privacy information. Vendors will only be required to fill out the W-9 one time but will have the option to send an updated W-9 if information changes.
